I'm grateful for clients like you who make my job so enjoyable, thanks for the great day on the lake!

Grateful for Great Company and Solid Fishing on the Lake!

<div>Fishing at High Rock Lake in June offers diverse opportunities for anglers targeting different species. Here's a detailed report on what you can expect:</div><div><br></div><div>Largemouth BassLargemouth bass fishing at High Rock Lake is particularly good in June. Early mornings are best for topwater action, with lures like Rico poppers in bone color being highly effective. As the day progresses and temperatures rise, bass move to deeper water, where they can be found around sunken structures such as brush piles and rocks. Texas-rigged soft plastics and Carolina rigs are effective in these conditions. Crankbaits, particularly the Rapala DT series, are also productive when fish aren't responding to slower presentations oai_citation:1,Bass Fishing &nbsp;| High Rock Lake Life oai_citation:2,Hot Bassin’ on High Rock Lake - Carolina Sportsman.</div><div><br></div><div>CrappieCrappie fishing in June requires targeting deeper waters and structures such as brush piles. Using electronics to locate schools is essential. Jigs and minnows are the preferred baits, with live minnows being particularly effective when the bite is slow. Crappie can often be found in groups around these structures, especially during hotter parts of the day oai_citation:3,Crappie Fishing &nbsp;| High Rock Lake Life.</div><div><br></div><div>CatfishCatfishing is also productive at High Rock Lake in June. Channel cats, flatheads, and blue catfish can be targeted. Night fishing tends to be more successful during the summer months due to the cooler temperatures and increased catfish activity. Baits such as cut bait, live bait, and stink baits work well. Focus on deeper holes and areas with good current flow for the best results oai_citation:4,Fishing | High Rock Lake Life.Striped&nbsp;</div><div>BassStriped bass are another popular target at High Rock Lake. Trolling with live bait or using artificial lures that mimic baitfish can be effective. Striped bass often follow schools of shad, so finding baitfish is key to locating the stripers. Early morning and late evening are prime times for striper fishing oai_citation:5,Fishing | High Rock Lake Life.</div><div>General TipsWater Conditions: The lake's water is typically stained, so using spinnerbaits and flashy lures can help attract fish.Weather: Pay attention to weather patterns and water levels, as these can significantly affect fish behavior and location.Equipment: Ensure you have a good depth finder and GPS to locate underwater structures and navigate the lake effectively.</div><div><br></div><div>By adjusting your tactics according to the time of day and the species you're targeting, you can have a successful fishing trip at High Rock Lake this June oai_citation:6,Fishing | High Rock Lake Life oai_citation:7,Hot Bassin’ on High Rock Lake - Carolina Sportsman.</div>

June Fishing Report 2024

Early Summer Fishing

<div>In May, Belews Lake in North Carolina offers excellent fishing opportunities. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of species including largemouth bass, striped bass, catfish, and crappie. With water temperatures warming up, bass fishing can be particularly productive, especially in the early morning and late evening hours. Topwater lures and soft plastics are effective for targeting bass near structure such as submerged trees and brush piles. Striped bass are often found in deeper waters, so trolling with live bait or large swimbaits can yield good results. Catfish can be caught using live bait or stink baits near the lake bottom, while crappie are often found around submerged vegetation and can be targeted with jigs or live minnows. As always, be sure to check local regulations and obtain any necessary permits before fishing.</div>

<div>Fishing Report: April Bass Fishing at Badin Lake, NCOverview: As April unfolds, anglers at Badin Lake, NC, can anticipate prime conditions for bass fishing. With the arrival of warmer temperatures, bass activity is on the rise, making it an exciting time for both seasoned anglers and novices alike.</div><div><br></div><div>Water Temperature and Conditions: Water temperatures in April typically range from the mid-50s to low 60s Fahrenheit, providing optimal conditions for bass to become more active. As spring progresses, expect water clarity to improve gradually, offering better visibility for fishing.</div><div><br></div><div>Bass Behavior: With the onset of the pre-spawn period, bass are increasingly active, feeding voraciously to prepare for spawning. During this time, they can be found in shallower waters, particularly near submerged structures such as fallen trees, docks, and rocky outcrops. As the month progresses, bass will migrate towards spawning grounds, focusing their attention on nesting areas.Recommended&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Techniques:Topwater Lures: In the early mornings and evenings, topwater lures such as buzzbaits, poppers, and frogs can be highly effective for targeting bass near the surface. These lures mimic natural prey and trigger aggressive strikes from hungry bass.Spinnerbaits and&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Crankbaits: As the day progresses and the sun rises higher, consider switching to spinnerbaits and crankbaits to cover more water and locate actively feeding bass. Focus on retrieving these lures along weed edges, drop-offs, and other transition zones where bass are likely to congregate.</div><div><br></div><div>Soft Plastics: Soft plastic baits like worms, crawfish, and creature baits remain reliable choices throughout April. Rig them Texas or Carolina style and work them slowly around structure and cover to entice bass into striking.</div><div><br></div><div>Prime Fishing Spots:Look for bass around submerged vegetation beds, particularly those located in shallower areas adjacent to deeper water.Target points, humps, and underwater ledges where bass congregate to feed and stage before moving to spawning areas.Don't overlook docks, especially those with brush piles or other forms of cover nearby, as they provide excellent ambush points for bass.</div><div><br></div><div>Regulations and&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 1em;">Considerations: Before heading out, familiarize yourself with the local fishing regulations and obtain any necessary permits or licenses. Practice catch-and-release whenever possible to help maintain healthy bass populations for future generations of anglers.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">Conclusion: April offers fantastic opportunities for bass fishing at Badin Lake, NC. With warming temperatures and increased bass activity, anglers can capitalize on the pre-spawn period to land some impressive catches. Whether casting topwater lures at dawn or working soft plastics along the lake bottom, there's something for every angler to enjoy during this exciting time of year. Tight lines and happy fishing!</span></div>

<div>The spotted bass were really biting. You can locate them halfway up the creeks and toward<span style="font-size: 1em;">&nbsp;the backs of</span></div><div>pockets. I would look for bait fish and concentrate on using texas rigged worms, jigs and finesse lures. This pattern should continue through the warmest days and they will head back out to deep water structure going into January.&nbsp;</div>

North Carolina Fishing

The scenic beauty of High Rock Lake provides the perfect backdrop for an exciting day of North Carolina fishing. We discovered the best bass fishing spots and caught them! Best experience and unparalleled bass fishing in the heart of North Carolina's stunning landscapes!

<div>Belews Lake is always an interesting adventure when fishing. This time of year we have found fish on deep</div><div>structure. Spotted Bass are always fun to catch because they put up a &nbsp;fight. My clients have a great day on the water here and you can always enjoy the scenery when the fish slow down. During the summer months the bite really slows down until October when the water starts to cool and the shad move back shallow. Let' go make some memories!</div>

High Rock Lake Fishing Report

As a fishing guide for Reel-Livin Outdoor Adventures, I can tell you that High Rock Lake is on fire right now for largemouth bass. The season for bass has been excellent, and my clients and I have been having a blast reeling them in.

We've been fishing in the early morning and late afternoon when the water is cooler, and the bass are more active. One of the most exciting things about fishing on High Rock Lake right now is the size of the bass. We've been catching some real monsters lately, with several weighing in at over five pounds. Seeing the excitement on my clients' faces when they reel in one of these big guys is what makes my job so rewarding.

Overall, I would highly recommend heading out to High Rock Lake for some bass fishing right now. The weather is beautiful, and the fish are biting. It's a great way to get outside and make some memories that will last a lifetime. Let's go catch some fish!
